However, the 7th edition of the ICC T20 World Cup was going to be organized in October 2022 by Australia. But, there was a change in plan, and Cricket Australia backed off. The plans were canceled by the Australian government due to the global pandemic.

The hosting rights were retained by Australia for the T20 World cup 2022. And the responsibility for the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 was given to India through an announcement made on 8th August 2020. Where ICC, along with BCCI, held a video conference.

Now that the ICC has announced on 29th January 2022 about the schedules related to the T20 World Cup 2002. This will be the  8th season, and there will be 16 teams participating in the match. The teams have been divided into subgroups, and you can view the match through T20 World Cup Live streaming or Live TV telecast.
